One group that seems to be making waves in the gospel music industry is "The Levites" Entertainment Review tried to get up close and personal with the group and this was our findings. Gospel artiste Edward Adu Sarpong is set to release his next album titled 'Te Ewurade Ase'. This follows his first album released in 2014 Titled KAN WO NHYIRA (COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS ) and the second 2017 . His yet-to-be released album has mid tempo instrumentation that can set you dancing all day. The title track, 'Te Ewurade Ase' is a mid-paced tune which has very contemporary soothing sounds that is bound to be enjoyed by every music lover. Reggae artist David kafui kumordzi known as Togbe Ghana in the music industry is out with another hit single "Say No To Drugs" Entertainment Review gathered that Togbe Ghana is the originator of Afro Ewe reggae dancehall music in Ghana. The 38yrs old musician who hails from KETA, is also a fitness trainer And founder of go to school foundation in Ghana which has the aim of making sure every child goes to school. Togbe Ghana's music is centered on the various cultural and social vices. This is evident in his hit song Stop Galamsey which won an award recently. The final edition of the ‘Glo Mega Concerts’ will take place on Saturday, October 20 at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra, Glo has announced. It will be recalled that, the President of Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Bice Osei Kufour aka Obour of kokontiba fame first initiated this policy few year ago which allowed many entertainers in the capital city to acquire cars from the MASLOC on loan. Entertainment Review has more fila on this and will be dropping them soon. Our question is, How many cars were given by MASLOC to Musiga? How many musicians received the cars? Has the Musicians union and the supposed musicians who took the cars finished paying since it is the tax payers money? National Gospel Music Awards Slated For Kumasi

The second edition of the National Gospel Music awards is slated to take place in Kumasi this year. According to the organizers, this years edition promises to be exciting than last years maiden edition. Information reaching the desk of Musicgh1 Entertainment Review is that the venue for this years edition will be at the CCB auditorium in kumasi on the 22nd December 2018. According to the coordinator for the event, Preparations for the second  edition of the National Gospel Music Awards are underway with the official launch already done in Kumasi. Sources to the desk of Musicgh1 Entertainment Review reveals that The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has set June 28, 2019 as the date for its national elections with regional elections following on October 25, 2019. This will be followed by its 2nd Biennial Conference in Accra on June 25, 2020. The elections will elect a new leadership for the Union after the term of the current executive under the leadership of its President Bice Osei Kuffour aka Obour. This was announced by the General Secretary of the Union, Deborah Freeman at its 1st Biennial Conference in Cape Coast. The conference was under the theme Building a Vibrant Union for National Development. Speaking as the Guest of Honor at the conference, the Central Regional Minister, Hon Kwamena Duncan assured the Union of government's support in its work to ensure the welfare of musicians in the country. One of the musical groups that seems to be making waves in the Ghanaian music Industry is Akofena Rhythms. Akofena Rhythms is a five piece band. The trumpeter,  Bassist, Pianist, drummer and the  Vocalist. The leader of the group is Mr Forson. He also doubles as the trumpeter for the group. Mr Forson has played with many great Musicians in Ghana and outside the country. He Won the Meilleur Instrumentiste à Vent Award in Benin in the year 2017. Other members of the group are: P.K, Eben, Larbi and Eyabi. P.K is the bassist and the advisor to the group. He has been in the music industry for many years and has served in the Ghana Military Service for some years as a bassist Eben is a humble Pianist for the group. Kento and Wizzy hits Again

Entertainment Review Oct 13 2018 Kento and Joe Wizzy released their second single title ” Besty “ The song seems to be picking up on the airwaves of Ghana. The two artist came together for an album project, releasing their first ever single ”  Good Over Evil “. The single was well-received by music lovers in and out of Ghana. The song is still enjoying airplay everywhere. Their release “Good Over Evil ” music video enjoyed air play on various TV stations in Ghana. Their second single album title “Besty” is out with music video  already showing on TV and available on  YouTube .The fast tempo dance-able tune saw singer Kento and Rapper Joe Wizzy telling a story of how they  fell in love with things they cherish.
