LIST OF CANDIDATES FOR MUSIGA NATIONAL ELECTIONS OUT The National Elections Committee of the Musicians Union of Ghana has announced the list of eleven candidates contesting for the MUSIGA national elections scheduled for June 26. The election will take place nationwide in all the ten old regions. The final list has two candidates vying for the President, 1st and 2nd Vice President slots and the General Secretary.                       Deborah Freeman Gospel artiste Deborah Freeman has declared her intention to contest for the 2nd vice presidential slot of the upcoming Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) elections slated for June 26, 2019. Deborah, who is currently the general secretary of the union, has worked tirelessly to convince her colleagues and music fans that she is capable of managing the affairs of the union. She told  that when voted into power as the 2 nd  vice president of MUSIGA, she would change the plight of musicians in the country, as well as put in place policies that would protect the interest of the musicians. With about two months left for the kokontiba hit maker, Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, to step out as the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) president, his Vice the belembe hit maker Bessa Simon is eyeing his job. Veteran musician Bessa Simons, who has served as Obour’s deputy for the past eight years, wants to be in charge of the largest musicians’ body in Ghana. As Obour’s second term as the president of MUSIGA comes to an end, plans to elect a successor has started in earnest. The musicians’ body has set June 26 this year as the date for members to elect a new president. President Obour Visits The Dead The President of Musiga Evangelist Bice Osei Kuffuor together with few members has visited the Tomb of Reverend Fiifi Khan Agyakwa, MUSIGA former Administrator. Those at the cemetery with president obour was Ras Appiah Caleb, Nana Kojo Biney alias electric, the daughter of Rev Fiifi and the family members Last year around  this same time, Ahuma Bosco Ocansey, the Head of Communications and Special Projects at the Union, disclosed that, the colleague passed after a short illness. According to him, the late Rev. Agyakwa was discharged on Saturday March 10, 2018 from the 37 Military Hospital in Accra and there after, gave up the ghost. Until his departure from life, Rev. TOGBE GHANA DROPS LYRICS FOR "Keep Ghana Clean"

The stop Galamsey hit maker and award winner has finally released the lyrics of his hit song "Keep Ghana clean" to the general public. This comes few days to his 30th December bash at the labadi beach featuring ace musicians like Dela Hayes and Lily M. Award winning Reggae artist David kumordzi popularly known in the music industry as Togbe Ghana, indicated that the song was written to help save our beaches from improper disposal of waste. The artist has promised to do his best to save this situation. Entertainment review spotted all the three in their hide out rehearsing and believes the show will be a great one.
