According to the Songstress, working together in the spirit of many in body but one in mind, we can achieve our goals of making our beaches Clean. Lily M made this empowering statement at the last beach clean up exercise at Dansoman Beach. "I wish to encourage all women to join me to prove that we are one with our environment, and that when we change and take positive action, our environment will also change and we can all enjoy healthy life, particularly at our beaches." VGMA: STONEBWOY AND SHATTA WALE BANNED INDEFINITELY, STRIPPED OFF ALL AWARDS Dancehall artistes Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have been stripped of all the awards they won at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). They have also been banned indefinitely by the organisers. The decision to ban and strip the two artistes of their awards they won this year was announced at a press conference organised Charterhouse, organisers of the Awards, and the Board of the awards. According to the organisers, at a press conference at the Alisa Hotel in Accra Thursday, the two artistes breached the code of conduct of the scheme. Mark Okraku Mantey, a member of the Board, explained that the board has the right to dismiss or disqualify any nominee who misbehaves or brings the Awards into disrepute. The decision means that Shatta Wale is no longer the winner of the ‘Highlife Song of the Year’ for ‘My Level’ and ‘Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year’ for ‘Gringo’. It also me...
