This is the Manifesto of Deborah Freeman Aspiring 2nd Vice President of MUSIGA.

Dear Comrades, The Good Lord has put many things  on Deborah Freeman's heart to do for the Union/Musicians when she is elected 2nd Vice President of MUSIGA.

As 2nd Vice President, she will have authority to take decisions and to implement them, unlike in the position of General Secretary where there were limitations.

During her term (s) as 2nd Vice President of MUSIGA, as the Good Lord enables her; Noting that the duties of  the 2nd Vice President are not limited to women issues, and that the position was created based on affirmative action bill in order to ensure that women are fairly included among leadership, therefore,

1. Deborah Freeman will effectively work in harmony with,  or act in the absence of the two other Presidents to implement policies of the Union.

2. Deborah Freeman will
give opportunity to every paid up member (both male and Female) of MUSIGA to have access to an international standard Recording/rehearsal Studio at affordably discounted rate.

3. Deborah Freeman will Harness her international connections to create opportunities for  paid up members of MUSIGA to Perform at international programmes, e.g, ILC, TU Conferences in various countries accross the globe.

4. Deborah Freeman will facilitate Workshops/Sensitization/Education/ Training programmes for both male and female musicians-such Trainings that would build their capacity to make them thrive in Show Business.

5. Deborah Freeman will help strengthen MUSIGA Regional Branches by way of ensuring that all Regional branches have secured office (accommodation) with computers and also with  staffs employed to assist Regional Executives in running day-to-day activities of the Union in the various Regions.

6.Deborah Freeman will introduce/facilitate  "Music night Market shows" in the various Regions where periodically, certain locations in all Regions would have musicians performing to the appreciation of local and international Tycoons and Music fans. Musicians would showcase/sell their songs alongside auctioning and networking for music business opportunities. Every Artiste who would be featured during "Music Night Market shows" shall be paid for their performances.

7. Deborah Freeman will help the Union to secure donor funding to facilitate Union activities both at National and Regional levels.

8. Deborah Freeman will help the Union to secure Musical Instruments which would be a source of fund raising and also job creation for members and more.

9. Deborah Freeman will help the Union to establish a Pension Scheme which will improve the livelihoods of musicians

10. Deborah Freeman will help the Union to establish cooperative scheme that will be a reliable source of funding for members.

11.Deborah Freeman will create opportunity for musicians, especially underground Artistes to thrive in their Music Carrier (i.e, using music for caller tunes, online digital store with AFTOWN, hosting free shows featuring underground Artistes)

I, Deborah Freeman, pledge to fulfill these and many more promises according to the strength that the Almighty God gives me.

As the Almighty God has purposed to establish Deborah Freeman as 2nd Vice President of MUSIGA, every Thumb shall work in Harmony with HIM!.
Dearest, Vote Deborah Freeman as 2nd Vice President of MUSIGA and you will find yourself being a vessel used for the fulfilment of God's great purpose of bringing transformation to MUSIGA, and for sure, your life shall never be the same. God richly bless you. Amen and Amen!

The organizers stated their displeasure about comments from people who did not vote or follow proceedings with regards to the awards.
